My math voyage was the best ! Me coming in my first year as a college student I was kind of scared getting to know new people learning things that I’ve never seen before ! Everyone are from different areas so we all have learned differently. The hard parts were me learning things I’ve already learned but forgot now ! It made me very frustrated some days i really wanted to cry I felt kind of slow as a learner because everyone would get it besides me ! Sometimes I will catch on but I forget I have short term memory so when it comes to test I can’t pass them because I don’t remember! I had nights of stressing hard !! Over math test because I can never remember and I hate that I needed someone to break it down dummy style for me
I feel you, I'm the same way. i haven't seen this math since high school. how did you overcome and pass the class?.
Besides that the best times were when we be in class and everybody gets the work done and she gives up props on being a good class ! And also having a good score on certain things and turning all your work in was the best feeling ever I’m going to miss this class ! Even though times get hard it will always get better thank you Ms dabit for all that you have done and in order to succeed in this class all you will need to do is pay attention , study , & do your work
As a freshman at Miles College, taking MA 100 for Ms. Dabit, wasn't an easy task or goal. The difficulty of taking this class for me was that when she (Ms. Dabit), was teaching the class it was hard for me to understand why most of the students didn't understand the subject she was teaching; math has always been my favorite subject. The thing I enjoyed the absolute most about Ms. Dabit's MA 100 class was that she put it in real life perspective for the class to understand, and I really appreciate that. As I conclude my testimony, you must understand the most important key that I believe there is to success; in order to succed you MUSTN'T BE AFRAID TO FAIL, NO MATTER HOW DEEP OF A WHOLE YOU MAY SEEM TO BE IN!
As a young freshman at Miles College, math was not hard but it wasn’t easy. As it started off so easy in the beginning, it than became harder and also, more enjoyable. Math can teach you life lesson at the end of the day. If you just show up to class and try to learn from the teacher it will be easy enough for you to pass.
I came here to Miles College with an open mind about how things was going to go.However my math voyage was actually great and bad in a sense. The hard parts in math is when you do not get the concept that is been taught at that moment. Its a very frustrating process, but I learned that it takes time to learn anything. You must study on what you learned and what you do not know. The times I enjoyed the most was been around my 1:00 class they was the best. We always had a good time and enjoyed our self. But we kept the work first and played later. What you need to know who ever is reading this is make sure you start your year off good. What i mean by that is start coming in to the class getting A's and B's on you assignments. But remember its okay to fail something, you are going to make mistakes in life when it come to math or any subject. But how you get over that is learning from what you did and keep moving on with life. DO NOT GIVE UP NO MATTER HOW HARD IT SEEMS JUST DON'T.
Thanks for the motivation. I really needed to see this post.
Math voyage was fun . The hard parts was ms dabit test. Time I enjoy most was doing notes in class. You need to know you need come class everyday and pay attention
As a freshman in college taking Ms.Dabit's class it wasn't easy at first considering math isn't my strong point. Threw the semester it got easier with Ms.Dabit as my MA-100 teacher she made it easy for you to learn how to do the work because she always gave you the easiest way to do it. The assignments weren't hard as long as you stayed on top of the work she gave you and made sure you did it to the best of your ability. I was the student in class i had to give my phone to her so i can concentrate, but i appreciate her doing that because it helped me learn how to focus more.
My math voyage was not easy.. It took alot of long nights staying up to prepare for a test.. Don't let procrastination get the best of you! And when you study' you need to reallyyyyyy study.. Focus on yourself learning instead of writing so much during a lesson and also make time to talk to your prof. And ask about your grades before hand!
First Off Isn’t God Great For Leading Me to Miles College To Be Successful and Achieve what he set our standards for to go to college and pass !!! Hello future miles student’s welcome to good ole Miles .... Coming into college with a good open mind not closed thinking you just can’t do the work or thinking it’s hard it’s actually not at all. You have tutorial session everyday anytimes , great support system and professors that want to see you be successful and get an degree. I personally was that close opened student that disliked “math” personally but the way my former teacher Mrs. Dabit she was excellent at teaching and breaking down every problem and she cares. She knew all her students by first name that’s an example how you know she was serious and on her students. I had a great experience in Mrs. Dabit MA 100 Class Thank You and future students Congratulations & Welcome To College......
Thanks for the motivation
My math voyage was great I learned many new things. Ms.Dabit is an awesome teacher she goes over things if you are having a hard time and she gives many great helpful resources on her website. Such as games and learning videos. The hard parts about this class is not understanding something that is being taught and the best parts about this class is you learn a lot of new thinngs. Things you need to know to succeed is to stay focused, pay attention, and study.
Mrs. Dabit class was one of the most fun classes i have taken my freshmen year. i think there are no hard parts in her class just do your work. Being the amazing teacher she is, she helps those who wanna help themselves.
I just want to start off by saying woahhh 🤦🏾♀️ My math voyage was the struggle but fun too. The hard part about it was losing my notebook and having to start all over 😢 & I enjoyed my whole 2:00 o’clock class we all helped each other out when we needed it. I would tell the new incoming classes to just attend all the class sessions that you can, try not to miss any days do all notes, projects, pay attention & DO YOUR VERY BEST 😘🙌🏾
As a incoming freshman taking Ms. Dabit it was a great experience. I loved the way she has a relationship with her students and the way she teaches and motivate us to do better . Also while taking this class always come to class because you might miss out on something one day . She is always giving out extra points . Come prepared and on time don’t take your time with her for granted because it won’t last long .
Well this semester takin this course really Had a grip on me . Sometimes i wanted to drop the class but i could even if i tried so i just stayed humble . The hard part of the class was tryna to be on time . The time i enjoyed the most is when we take notes it’s easy and i don’t have to sit their . Just humble yourself and try to focus and comprehend on whatever your teacher is saying .
My math voyage was a journey! I must say. It was a good thing I met Ms.Dabit as a freshman coming in to college she gave a good vibe and nothing but the best vide. It was like she knew how to teach each and everyone in her class at the same time but in different ways! She will most definitely get the job done at the end of the day. You will be lucky to have a teacher like Ms.Dabit. If you come in on your A game you will get it done but if you come in not ready to learn and gain experience you will fall and she will try to help but it’s up to you at the end of the day.
Thank you the time you invested in helping me learn more about math and how it applies to everyday life. I liked everything about the class I thought it was neat how we all could interact online. I like how Ms. Dabit always make away for the class to earn extra bonus points. Use the time wisely, don't waste it.
My math voyage throughout this semester was pretty easy but I have been struggling with math ever since middle school so that wasn't always the case. Before taking this class, I was very discouraged due to me having to take a developmental class because my math score on the ACT wasn't good enough. However, I have gotten a much better understanding of basic Algebra because of the diversity of Mrs. Dabit's teaching methods. She has different learning strategies for her students like creating foldables that explains the process of solving equations and having us play online games to help us remember what we have learned effectively. She takes time with those who struggle to understand certain problems and breaks the information down the best way she can because she does not want any student left behind. Learning the information was easy but it starts to get a little challenging if you do not review what you've learned for a long period of time. My advice to future students is to stay positive, focus in class, stay organized, jot down notes (not word from word but key words to help you remember), and most importantly, STUDY. Review what you've been taught frequently so you won't forget it because that is where alot of students mess up at and it shows when it is time to take a test. You should also go above and beyond with your projects and other major grade assignments because Mrs. Dabit loves that and she will give extra points to students who put in alot of effort and it also shows that you are really engaged. Good luck! :-)
My math voyage at times came to be a challenge for me ,and sometimes was a cake walk. This class has taught me a lot and has prepared me for the next level. The number one goal in trying to maintain your grades and passing the class is that you always need to show up for class or.Failing to do that we cause confusion and you will be far behind because I'm a witness of missing one class and fell far behind.Ms. Dabit is a very nice person to get to know and mad me feel very confident on the first day.At times it can be challenging but if you stay focused and on task the results are in your favor.
To future students of Ms. Dabit class the class is very enjoyable and life changing. The most important thing is to pay attention in class , and have all grades in on time. She was a really good teacher and I'm grateful to have had her.
As a freshman in college it started out hard I was never really a math person. But I wasn’t going to let it kick my but so I did all I could to make sure I was going to pass the class. It was hard for me because of being in band trying to manage the time that I did have to do homework and practice and make sure everything was straight toward the end of the semester I felt like I had did a good job through out the semester so we will find out
My freshman fall semester was a complete success. every teacher takes their time out to help you with your weakness on that subject or chapter your on. My Math teacher well former math teacher Ms.Dabits is very nice and helpful she gives props when they are due and SHE WILL THROW SHADE lol. So do not piss her off when she's trying to help or teach you and the class. also if you need extra help and you are a good student she will give out these little card with quotes on it for extra points and also you can read the cards if your having a bad day. also since i was one of the top students with grades and academics wise I always been on the wall for the "Golden Star" you become a golden star if you pass your Mid Term exam its a good feeling to be on the wall and getting acknowledge for all the hard work that you do in class last but not least in this class i also made friends we help each other and try to work together remember y'all are here for two thing and that's to learn and get your degree to be successful in life never look down on anyone because two minds works better than one i enjoyed my class this fall semester and i hope you will enjoy it too
Ms. Dabit has to be the best math teacher you’ve ever met. There might be times where she’s going to be very irritated and might be having a bad day, but at the end it’s all worth it. Honestly there wasn’t a bad part part of her class everything is easy if you are the type of person that do not just miss class a lot. Be focused, serious, and dedicated to your work. Ms. Dabit even do hands on work she makes everything colorful, and really give you a reason to love her class. Unlike other teachers that might explain the work all in black and white then just say do it. Future freshmen’s of Ms.T Dabit class you’ll love it‼️‼️
